The old cast-iron/anvil effect frame we have chosen is very much in keeping with the subject. The poppy is fixed to a black background. The box lining - also canvas - is an interpretation of the design inside the box the poppy came in.
The top mount is a sepia black core with a painted red inner-mount. The amazing 'TruVue' non-reflective clear glass gives the impression of no glass at all!
